Stock alarm horn question.

I was at my local surplus store and I found a 12volt siren. Well I went home and connected the two ends to my car battery and I just about shit my pants it was so loud.

My question is when I took off my bumper to clear my head lights I saw a third horn, is that the only horn that goes off when my alarm sounds? If it is I would like to take if off and put on the loud siren.

I consider you guys the professionals and can answer any question I have so please help my out with this.

I know the horn you push on the steering wheel uses two horns (dual). So the 3rd horn must be for the alarm. I wonder if you run a jump wire to the siren, it would sound when the alarm goes off??

By jump wire you mean just hook up a wire form the 3rd horn and connect to the siren.

One more thing. I think when I hook this up the siren will have pauses in it. any ideas on how to get it to be consistent.
