post your custom 15" sub setup..

I might be getting a 15" jbl for a good deal, but im hesitating about putting them in my trunk because i use my trunk a lot for my golf bag and hockey bag...

If you have a single 15", please post your trunk setup so I can get an idea of how much trunk space is available..

Thanks

Jordan

You're gonna lose about 1.5cf minimum with a 15" sub. Possibly over 2cf if you go ported.

You should still be able to fit a golf bag in the trunk though...

Have u though about downfiring a 15" ive done a few in various cars/truck, you retain space and get a nice sound. im sure you could downfire and just make the enclosure taller so it wouldnt be so large and you still will have room for your goodies, golf bags, etc

1.5 cu. ft is pretty damn good for a 15" woofer. You can definitely get away with that size enclosure and still fit your golf clubs.

Golf bag....golf bag???? Who cares about a golf bag. You should be able to fit a standard hockey bag in the back. I get my goaltender's bag in the back, but not my leg pads. THAT'S your standard-not a golf bag !!!!

I made a custom setup not done yet with a focal 15" sub
I pointed the sub into the cab it need 47l that is 1.7 cub. I plan on mounting my amp to the back of it so all you see is the amps. Im in the same boat wife maybe kids soon so I need the space
the sub box is only taking up 10inches from the seat so this will give me the space I need
hope this help a bit

have you though about an infinite baffle set up i know focal and imagine dynamic both are companies that make great IB subs. You could get a nice sub and lose next to no space.

PM me, I have an Pioneer Avic Z2 in mine. I can send you pics as well. I can't find it but there are a few members here who have also changed it up. They don't make any dash kits for our rides. You may have to go to a custom shop to make one for you. As for the wire harness you can get one from Crutchfield for like 10 bucks.
