why do you need a phone holder? makes your car look cheap. just hide the phone anywhere.

I agree. Just throw it in the arm rest. You can use the integrated power outlet to power the phone while it's hiding.

I could see you love your P900 a lot, although it's not HFL phone, you just cannot give it up...

I like the phone holder because my phone is a pda and I can see appoments without looking for my phone. Also I have pic caller . Another thing is that phone holder is made out of leather so it matches my seats (Kinda).

You can! And even plug in a headset, data cable, etc.

I don't like it either...sorry!! I'd just get a HFL phone and stash it in the glove compartment. Having it attached next to the center console reminds me of the old car cell phone's of the past...way outdated look....sorry!!!

Also another reason I like it is that I can watch movies on my phone and plug in the sound connector to a tape adapter and have the sound go to my speakers in my car. The phone can be turned sideways and you can watch the movie in landscape mode.

I just don't want to mess with my navi just yet to make it into DVD player until my warranty runs out.

So not only do we have to worry about you f*cking around with your phone while you're driving, now you want to watch movies as well. You people scare the hell out of me.

I was thinking the same thing, then I read he watches movies. Let me guess, next he'll comvert his glove box into a fridge to keep his beer cold. Well, maybe I went to far there, but it's still unsafe.

...nice holder, very stylish. I have one of those P900 mobiles myself. As for the P910...if I still have my P900 around when it comes out, I am going to attempt the screen/firmware swap.

That is why we have insurance , to replace the car (and wait 6-8 more weeks) when I wreck it watching a movie or scheduling appoments. Just kidding. But that beer idea would be cool until I get a DUI. :P

It looks good. Those bashing him about getting an HFL compatible phone instead should realize that aside from the lack of HFL functionality on the P900 it is a very solid phone. It does almost everything you would need. Also, jamesliu must have put down a good deal of money to buy that phone, and it seems this option is the best way to get the most use out of the P900 in the TL. I do agree that it does not look the most technologically advanced, but hey looking at a P900 is worth it.

... hehe you said solid. I can find at least 10 things wrong with the O/S that no one would pick up but overall, to the regular everyday user, these erros won't jump up at you...only when you try to make the phone do stuff that its not intended or you try to multitask without having a system/app manager installed.

Well I have never been a huge fan of Symbian, but yes for people who want a PDA mostly for PIM functionality, it is a good phone.

It kinda matches. The texture does not match but the color matches the seats. I wish it was the color of the plastic by the feet though.

Only if...

Looks like a great solution! Unfortunatley you can't just hide your phone or throw it in the console because you need to phone available for.... Caller ID with name, looking up #'s not stored in HFL, punching in codes (I know theoretically you can voice those, what a pain), better reception, so on so forth.
