Phone/iPod conversion in Non-navi

I have an 05 TL and wanted to do a conversion in my radio to be able to hook up my phone to the radio (getting tired of using CDs)... I don't have a navigation system in my car. I have seen the DIY for the folks that do have the navigation, and I was wondering if it's the same for non-navi - or is it even possible to do this conversion?

P.S. I have done extensive searches on this site, but I didn't find any posts that helped me with this question.

If you want an ipod adapter, it's compatible both for navi and non-navi cars and it's basically the same installation instructions. There are a few modules out there that you can use such as the USA-SPEC (new model with ipod text capabilities), Isimple, PX-AMG, etc.

If you have an iphone 3G or 4 make sure the unit charges them!

It's the same. Here's my DIY - https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-audio-bluetooth-electronics-navigation-94/i-160-usa-spec-install-633080/

Good luck.
