I just bought the new Samsung Galaxy S II 4G LTE. It took me many tries to get it successfully paired and connected to my 2004 Acura TL. What did the trick was to change the name of the Bluetooth device in my phone. My problem is that when I turn the phone off at any time, then back on again, it will not automatically reconnect to my car. I have to go into my Bluetooth settings on my phone and click the HFL device and it reconnects. My previous phone, which was not a smart phone, was able to reconnect automatically every single time with no problem.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

Same issue with my Samsung Galaxy S Epic. Just sounds like Samsung might have some issues with their bluetooth drivers.

 

Well my phone and car have suddenly decided to start connecting automatically. Maybe it was first date jitters.
