Phone book

Just got a 08TLS, but is there a speed dial feature when placing calls. It looks like I have to open the cellular phone book, choose my phone, and then scroll down to the find the number. There must be an easier to set the top 5 phone numbers that I usually dial.

Aren't you saving names/numbers into the HFL system address book?

If you have a Sony Ericcson phone, the numbers can be imported from your phone at once (up to a max of 50??); other cell phones require that numbers be imported one at a time.

Otherwise, you can enter frequently-called numbers with voice tags into the HFL per the manual, the way those of us with the '04-'05 TLs do- Home, wife, girlfriend, boyfriend, etc. Then you can just push the HFL button, say "Call [voicetag name]," push the button again or say yes to confirm, and the call is placed...

I dont think you can use HFL with imported phone books unless I missed something. You can manually add each imported entry, but at that point you might as well just enter each name and number and use the voice dial like Will Y said.

You can store the desired number to the HFL phonebook directly from your cell phone, make sure yours is capable. After the beep say phonebook then say receive contact. Info in your manual.

Thanks guys, I had to really read the damn manual. But I got the phone book synced and the voicetags down. Now I am happy.
