Question Peripheral PXAMG Problem

I'm trying to install the PXAMG unit but I'm having two problems.

1) When I turn it on, I can find my Ipod, select a song and it starts playing. The problem is there is no sound coming out of the speakers. If I switch to FM or CD, it sounds fine.

2) As I scoll thru the options, I only have Ipod, Aux1 and Aux 2. It is not finding the Sat / XM.

The firmware has been updated to 36. I have also unplugged the unit for 15 minutes and reinstalled it but it made no difference. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Also, I'm trying to plug it into the unit in the trunk. Some threads say you can do this and others say you can't. I'm confused and the search function is broke.

Can someone send me a link to the instructions to the behind the radio installation? I've only seen the trunk installation.

just to be clear you only need to plug it in the trunk if you have an 07-08. If you have an earlier model it gets plugged in behind the radio.
