Pandora via Iphone/isimple?

I'm sure this has been asked before but I couldn't find an answer. I'm looking to install the Isimple in my 06 TL. (no nav) Will this allow me to play just music from the ipod portion of my iphone or can I also play Pandora thru the isimple? Thanks!!

Yes, and here's the process:

You'll need to select a playlist, artist, etc once you have it hooked up. If you try to go straight into Pandora or WunderRadio, it will just keep bumping out to the iPod Connected screen. Hit the home button to exit out of iPod mode once you have done this.

Voila. You're all set to go. This was done on a JB'ed 2.02 iPhone 3G.

Sorry but I don't follow your directions at all - This is what I was told:

That's what AUX1 is for on your iSimple. It leaves the iPod unlocked, gives you audio through the radio and you can still change tracks from radio/steering wheel. Just no TEXT on the nav screen.

It works just fine via the iPod setting. I tried it the first day I had it.

Some advantages and caveats:
-If you try to change tracks via the steering wheel, or change sources, you'll have to start over.
-Once you're done with Pandora or WunderRadio, click the iPod icon on the phone and you'll be back status quo. Your song will be paused.

Installed the iSimple this weekend in my 06 Navi. Worked like a champ (at least with my blackberry in AUX1, i don't have a full size iPod).

However, maybe 2 days later I started my car up in the morning and couldn't turn the stereo system on. Few minutes down the road and pushed the Power button repeatedly and it finally turned on. Even after that it responded to commands kinda sluggishly, like good 3-5 second pause between commands. This is just normal stereo functions, by the way, nothing connected to the iSimple adapter. Finally warms up and smooths out after a few minutes of messing with it.

Almost a week now and it still does it in the morning when the car is stone cold, and once after it sat for half the day.

If your jailbroken you need to download a app threw cydia called "backgrounder" which allows programs to run in the background. enable it and you can have pandora playing no matter if you close it or open another application while you drive

I haven't even hooked up an iPod/Phone. I only have a shuffle and my BB phone. The problem has been happening with nothing connected to the adapted.
