Pa15-HON3 problem: no XM after install
Pa15-HON3 problem: no XM after install
Hopefully someone who's installed the USASpec kit can answer this:
I've got a '06 TL with Navi. I pulled apart my dash and installed a PA15-HON3 into the back of the head unit, plugged everything in, set the DIP switched, and powered the radio on. Sometimes I get no XM at all; pushing the button does nothing, nor does the MODE button on the steering wheel. Other times XM will show up but apparently only XM1; again pushing the XM button doesn't change between XM1 and XM2. I've tried all permutations of the DIP switches, tried pulling battery power and resetting the radio, nothing. If I pull the CAS-H3y cable out and put the car's XM plug back in the radio, things are fine.
I thought maybe I wasn't putting the white XM plug in all the way, so I pulled the whole Navi/radio unit out to get to the back of it, but same thing.
Any ideas? I thought I saw a thread with the same problem on here but I'll be darned if I can find it.
