Opening up carpet

I am going to try and installing an iSimple controller for my 2006 TL.

Does anyone have an idea how to open up the carpeted area so I can get access? Thanks-

I didnt have to open any carpet to install mine . Just took off a few plastic trim pieces and that was it . I ran the cable up into the center console
