Everyone I call complains about the same thing. It's hard to hear me, I sound far away. Has anyone figured out how to improve this problem without leaning forward and talking to the sealing?

 

I know that you can adjust the mike sensitivity on one of the tabs on the Navigation setup or diagnostic screen (press navi and hold, then press map and contintue to hold and then press cancel and continue to hold until the screen appears (be very careful fooling around with the options on this screen). However, I don't know if that adjusts the sensitivity for the mike for the phone.

I haven't had that problem. When my wife has phone me from the car it doesn't sound any worse than a call from any other hands free device I have heard used in other cars.

I feel your pain.
I have a Sprint T608 phone and 04 TL. I have been getting the same complaints.
The quality is not consistant. Sometimes it sounds great. Other times it is almost unusable. It does not seem to relate to road noise.

Have you been able to improve the quality?
