Talking OK, here's the Nav hack I want ...

I would like to see the outside temperature displayed on the Nav screen.

In other cars I've had, the temp was overlaid in the upper right corner of the screen, so it was easy for my passengers to see (and not have to ask me ).

I realize this would require that some Honda/Acura vehicle have this as a feature so it can be "unlocked" from the existing OS. I have no idea if any of them actually DO have this, so that would of course be a starting point. Anyone have any idea?

(Yeah, I know this is a long shot, but it doesn't hurt to ask. )

GREAT idea! And while they're at it, how about making it a temp gauge that's actually worth a damn and doesn't quit at 115???

good luck with that......it would take a lot of hacking into the code to do that, and I can only think of one or two people on here that are able to do it.

Nice cars you have though...put some pics up and a comparison if you get a chance.

Time of Arrival

The Nav Hack that I am waiting for is the estimated arrival time displayed in the top line of the Nav window. My TomTom estimates the actual time that it thinks I will arrive. The TL only tells me how much longer I will be driving. Why can't it add this to the current time and display an ETA?

LOL! I hear that! But there are 3 to 4 months of the year where we will hit those temps and it's nice to see something other than "---". This is the ONLY car I have ever seen this on. Stupid.
