I'm doing a non-navi to navi conversion in a 3g TL 2005 using 2006 Navi system. Is anyone selling the "custom wiring harness". I checked some recommended websites from A-ziners but they are all non-existent at this point.

 

Ebay bro, find a guy selling the whole kit then message him saying which parts you need and he will sell you only what you need. That's what I did.

 

Sounds like you already bought an oem navi unit, but did you consider retrofitting a tablet?

I dont understand why you need a custom harness? It should be plug and play unless you are doing something else

 

I looked into the tablet but I didn't like the look of moving the display screen. I am checking on ebay for Navi stuff and from what I see there still needs to be some custom wiring connections done to make it "plug n play ready. People still do it but I saw that ebay was charging damn near $500.....that's crazy

 

did you ever get this to work out? What all is needed?
Have been considering swapping an 05 non navi to navi if possible.

No I didn't. Not worth the cost when my SG3 is all i need for Navigation. lol. I rather spend that cash in other areas.
