after i start my 07 with nav i get no sound out of the speakers. the radio is on and i can see what channel it is on but no sound. i can adjust the volume all i want and nothing. the only way to get the sound to return is by turning the radio off and then on again OR by changing the channel.
as far as i can tell it only does this when it is on xm. sometimes it comes on just fine but with increased regularity it does not.

it's a small annoyance but was wondering if anyone else has had this issue?

 

I've seen that before. It's happened to me a few times over the past 1.5 years. Typically I need to restart the car for it to work again, but it's come back before after turning radio on/off (usually not). It's probably only happened about 6 or 8 times, so it's not worth a trip to the dealer for me. I'd rather chew glass than go to the dealer.

 

sounds like a bad XM receiver in the trunk, take it to acura and they should replace it.
