Hello, new here.

I've searched similar posts but haven't seen quite what I'm looking for. I have an 06 TL w/ Navigation. My radio began to "flicker". Would turn on/off on its own, then sometimes it would turn on and sometimes not, sometimes volume worked and sometimes not. After replacing a dead battery and alternator, no longer could turn on radio. I can't get the CODE prompt to appear (have already tried: Power, 1, 6). The "red security light" on radio flash but nothing else.
I have checked all fuses inside (5, 7,32) and all appear fine. Not broken, continuity test with multimeter worked.
Under hood I checked 22,23,15 - and are ok.
I tried removing Fuse 5 with car running then putting it back to prompt code - nothing.

Is there a fuse for the amp? If so where is it? Any other help would be great.

Does this signal amp is dead? Radio dead?

ha! No one ever replied. I ended up replacing the radio (with an after market one - there is now a harness for 3rd party radios for this gen of TL). Sounds even better than stock radio.
