Just downloaded the updated firmware for the i870. Display now shows battery level and signal strength.

before you downloaded the new firmware, you were unable to see signal strength and battery life?

my phone i870 shows all that stuff and i bought it from the telus store in canada (authorized dealer)

Thanks Boever, I updated the firmware on my TELUS i870 and now I can see the battery level and signal strength. I got my i870 in June last year.

nitehawk23, when did you get your i870?

Have you guys seen the i880? Its slimmer and lighter with and has all the same features plus a few extras.
