I could'nt find any users who these reported problems with this phone and our cars.

It links perfectly, and everyone knows it doesn't show signal strength and battery so for the most part im good with it. But:

1. I have to go to bluetooth and connect on the handset each time I enter the car.

2. It doesn't unlink itself when I leave the car and doesn't work right - when I make calls people do not hear me I can only here them. And When it is unlinked this problem continues until I restart power on phone.

3. its impossible to use walkie talkie with the HFL buttons on our steering wheel

I want to know if anytone else has these problems or if anyone knows any fixes. thanks.

 

Just bought the i870 last month and it end up in ebay..lots of problem with that phone..no batt. meter,signal..and worst part they couldnt hear me loud and clear through HFL..so I just checked the acura website and it turns out after their testing that the i870 isnt compatible...looking forward to get the blackberry 7100i since Im w/ nextel...

 

Not sure about the TL, but my i870 works fine in the RL. No battery or signal strength, but it operates fine - even direct connect (you still have to press the talk button on the phone for DC)

 

i have the TL and an 870, no real problems. like mentioned earlier, no battery or signal strength, and you just have to use the PTT to use direct connect.
