Newbie questions the dealer couldnt answer.

First does the stereo on the TL have an Aux input on the back? I know you can get the ipod link, but Im looking for something I can use for a non-apple unit.

second, do all TL's come wired for the GPS antenna? I have a standalone gps already and didnt get nav. Would be nice to hook it up to a pre-existing GPS antenna if possible.

Not sure about the aux in, but I think only navi get the antenna. It's in the rear deck. So I would say they didn't put one in, if you don't have Navi. It would be a waste of labor to put it in.

Yah, but Ive seen the harnesses run for options in cars before. Figured the little nub antenna at the top of the car might be a combo radio/gps/XM antenna.

No aux in but you can get aftermarket aux inputs for sure. Most of the aftermarket makers that make iPod adaptors also offer the same kind of adaptor with just RCA jacks for inputs.

Just XM in the TL's case.

Given the fact that the Nav is a factory option vs dealer, I would speculate that the GPS antenna would not be present in a non navi TL.. If it were a dealer option then I might bet otherwise.

The nub on top of the roof is the XM antenna.

There is an aux unit but is used by the XM if I remember correctly. As far as other players, I think most after market aux in adapters use RCA plugs.

No, the TL is not wired for GPS unless you have the Navi option and as stated the antenna is located on the right under the rear deck.

I read in the owners manual its integrated into the back window.
