New TL owner
I brought this 2005 TL from this dealer, however, the car didn't include a Navigation Disk, the Nav code, radio access code, as well as a owners manual.
Could someone guide me into getting these necessary items. I understand I need to get a nav-disk for the navigation to work but will also need a code to get it started ...
I am new to this forum. I'll be researching and returning to this website for answers.
Help is appreciated.
Thanks

Welcome! Too bad the first thing that happens to you is that you're missing a bunch of crap.
If you bought it from an Acura dealer, go back there and tell them to give you all that stuff lol. You can get the radio and nav codes from any dealership with your VIN number. There are several dealerships listed on the vendor page of this site, who happen to have substantially higher customer service skills than any dealer I've ever been to. A new nav disk is $100, but you will get the updated maps. I doubt they'll have one for your '05 just chillin' so you might as well just buy a new one.
There's a lot of great information on the site. Have fun absorbing!

There is no need to register or log-in to the Acura owner's site to view the manuals.
Your Navi uses the Orange disc-- the 2013 one is now $149 from Navteq (sale for $99 ended yesterday), or you can get a used older version in the Black Market forum on AZ.
With regard to the radio and Navi codes, they originally came on a business-card sized piece of plastic along with the car's paperwork. Sometimes dealers will put that card in the spare tire compartment along with the trunk nets. Otherwise, techs write the 4- and 5- digit codes down on stickers attached to the glove box or on top of the engine compartment fuse box cover.
Welcome to AZ.
Haha why are you sad bro! We just solved all of your problems. You can download a manual for free, you can call any Acura dealer for your codes for free, and you can pick up a new nav disk for 100 or find an older one on the BM for probably much less than that. Enjoy the car man! I never thought I would see a sad face next to the words "New TL Owner". Except for 4G owners...
Not IN the glove box. On the outside of the left wall of the glove box. In other words, only visible from the driver's seat, when the glove box is open.
Someone also posted a link to a website that you can punch in info and get your codes... Didn't save that link though.

I went on Justanswer.com and got my codes there. Cost me $20 for both. You can do that if you dont want to wait till monday. I called My local dealer today to try and get my codes, I'm still waiting for them to call me back.
