So I purchased a CPO 07 TL on Monday and am loving the car. The thing is just freaking awesome. The thing I am not liking is the lack of features the navi unit has. My last two cars had a double-din Kenwood unit installed that had everything I could ask for. I am missing my Ipod controls that I once had, so now i need to find a unit that works for me. I know it is not going to be like my old setup, but the TL is such a nicer car then my previous ones. I don't mind settling. There is a ton of info in previous threads about this stuff, but it is extremely hard to sort through. Any advice is appreciated. Here is what I am looking for:

-I use XM all the time. Used to be a sirius customer, but now im forced to XM. All is well since i can still listen to howard.
-I heard some units have issues working with HFL.
-I would like to be able to leave my ipod hidden and control everything from the unit.
-And good sound quality.

Again i'm driving a 07 with navi. I wish there was just a easy way to put my aftermarket stuff in, but again i'm going to settle for what ever ipod options are available.

Went searching on youtube and found a few videos. I saw that the usa spec adapter is easily switched by just pushing xm1 or 2. Also liked that the searching was easily done by the 1-2-3-4-5 buttons. Now the question i have is if i pushed button 2 for artist selections can I then select the album and maybe song??

And does the pxamg have any of the above feature or how does the unit handle navigation?
