New owner-car audio install

hello Acurazine!

i am not sure if anyone has done this searched thru the threads. i am not new to the car audio installs just new to the everything preamped.
heres the ?????'s
my plans are to keep the factory HU no navi base 6cd changer xm etc. i plan on doing a complete overhaul of the stock subs speakers amps. i have everything from my previous car(civic)
my equipment are
sundown audio 100.4 mid amp
sundown audio 2k sub amp
mids in front type R comps rears undecided
subs sundown sa12's
enclosure i plan on doing a 4th order blowthru thru the center back armrest hole.

okay so heres the problem. i plan on running an equalizer to control everything should i just tap a Loc to rca and run the rca straight to the eq. then disconnect factory amps and run wires from aftermarket amp to factory wiring out to mids?

No worries about electrical and wiring my plans are to have 2 runs of 0awg 1 neg 1 pos, possibly 4 if my plans are to get louder. and of course battery in the trunk. Thanks for the help.

All that expensive equipment and you're gonna use a loc to take care of the signal?

Get a processor. Something along the lines of an audison bit.1 or 3sixty.3.

Btw, that front stage won't be enough for 2 sa 12's.

thanks for the info, eggs kinda figured you'd jump in seeing other threads you post were some serious stuff. never worked with a processor. Always been a crossover or an equalizer. So for future advice would the processor be after the factory amp or before? its hard enough having to wire from trunk to factory wires(mids) sub i have no problem. Plus processor i cant really reach and adjust like an eq, everything has to be fine tune thru computer? more info would be appreciated.

Ditch the factory amp

You don't need a center for this kind of setup either.

okay. so pretty much get rid of everything. lol well atm im still debating if i wanna go thru with the 4th order or prob a trunk wall. gonna be round 3.5cf tuned around 35hz slightly lower possibly. and have to redo my power wires. since previous owner had a system but i do not know how or where he wired the loc, since power/remote/rca are still in trunk. plus he has the bass knob near the steering wheel next to the open area by the vsa
