New Navigation System??

This may have been discussed before, but does anyone know if Acura plans on implementing this new HDD Navigation system from Honda? The site says that the New Civic will get it.

Since Japan is at the least several years ahead of Europe and the US in the car navigation market,
I don't think that we will see it here for at least a couple of years.

The current system is fine for me. In fact it looks like it is better than the new RL's as I believe the new one isn't touch screen.

The next major generation (paradigm-shift) of navigation will not require satellites.

Car manufacturers are looking to the military which has technology to basically know where the car is based on comparing road images (using landmarks, elevation, yaw rate, etc.) to a [very] large database.

Who knows how far off it is, but definitely after HDD-based (or static memory) storage
