Needing help with finding a bluetooth solution
Hello all,
I bought a used 08 TL Base w/ no nav model last year and the HFL module was removed by the previous owner. I am now wanting to replace with it with one. Should I go with OEM? Did those models have the battery drain issue on the 08 TL? If so, where can I find one? I am not having any luck, not sure if I'm typing in the wrong thing or what.

1. If you have more money and don't mind taking some plastic panels off (to guide the microphone wire from the trunk to the front) then go with USA SPEC BT45-HON3. It's pretty good in terms of quality. I've been using it for couple months now. They go for $120-$150 on Amazon (but without the warranty?).
2. But since you have an '08 you got an aux port, so getting something like Kinivo BTC450 would work. It's less elegant but cheaper and easier to install. There are alternatives - just don't go too cheap or quality will suffer.
3. Get OEM HFL. Most expensive and doesn't let you play music from the phone. I've heard that some upgraded model from TSX might work.
