Need Suggestions
I have upgraded my audio system on my car but I'm not satisfied. I have been thinking upgrading the audio to a different level. I want to create a custom rear speaker deck in which I will be adding 10" speakers, I will be eliminating the old deck. I would like to get feedbacks before doing all this and see what you guys think.

What are your goals? As in...what do you want to get out of your system? Tons of bass? Sound quality?
With $1,000 you can do a good bit, but my personal opinion would be to stay away from the rear deck. It's metal and flimsy. Plus they're behind you and unless you have some serious processing power, you won't get a good stage in front of you (this is only if you want that type of SQ-ish sound)

When you say get rid of the old deck, I'm assuming you mean the cover? The rear deck is a structural part of the car getting rid of it would be dangerous.
Look around here, there are very few if any successful subwoofer installations in the rear deck. Every once in a while a person will come along, ignore all of the warnings and do it anyway and then not be happy with it.
If your goal is space, there are other just as good options as 10s in the deck. I wouldn't limit yourself to just 10s either.

Stuffing EV speakers in the rear deck with some bs supertweet is the norm around here.
If u want what i think you want, 1k will get you nothing. Probably just processing.

I don't want a crazy loud system bro...with 1k I think I can get pretty loud speakers. I don't have extra cash to spend on one of those sounds popupar around our area. I just want tO have loud speakers to make the audio loud in the car. Any suggestions on what to consider. If I can avoid going over board with a deck I will gladly do that.

Or something like this: http://seattle.craigslist.org/sno/ele/3081058469.html
Or maybe this:
Either one would help the OP hit his goals and come in under budget.

When you say rear deck 10"s, can we assume you are thinking of doing 10's ib in your deck as a substage? What upgrades have you already done? Fronts, amps, processing?

Yeah, 10 mids in the rear deck is probably a waste.... As communicated already, although I have seen 10's ib on a rear deck before that were nice, not on a tl though
