i have a 08 tl w/ nav

all i want to do is add my amp

to my JL W6V2

as far as the LOC goes...just wire that into the stock sub - and + wires, remove stock sub and connect your rca's to your amp from the LOC.

try it without the LOC first and see how it sounds. =) You might be surprised. haha Sure, the best way would be to eliminate the factory amp, as always, but if in a pinch, or as an interim, try it. Mine sounds great. I went straight from speaker output at the rear of the car, and bridged 2 channels of my 4 channel amp for the Sub and installed 2 new speakers in the rear desk and those aer powered by the other 2 channels of the amp. Those 2 channels are in stereo.

My amp is a D-Class Pioneer GM-D9500F and I have never heard low frequencies like I hear in this TL.. And every stereo I had in my camaros always used the normal Headunit, custom amp and speakers. nothing factory every used.. But I am getting extremely low frequencies even out of the factory amp. Amazing.

but still Probably someday I might remove the factory amp.. At this point it is very low on my list of things to do because it sounds so awesome.
