I am looking to put white leds under the door handles on my car....anyone have a suggestion on where to tap the power into? I am thinking something like dome lights because they come on when you unlock the car. If so, does anyone know where the easiest/most accessible place to tap into that?

 

tap power from a source that turns on when you lift the handle or use the keyfob to open the door (dome light circuit) or from constant power with a trigger that activated via the dome light circuit( clock/radio circuit)

 

yea i would like it if acted the same way as the dome lights....im sure the wire for that is somewhere under the dash but which one?

 

Dome Supervision, green/red wire, negative polarity, green 5 pin plug, rear of fuse box. this is for a 06 TL, should be the same wiring as the 07 but you never know.

 

do you mean the under dash fuse box or the one in the engine bay?
