How do i make my 06 TL play dvd's, i have a navi, but don't know what to get or buy or set up to play dvd's. i need you help guys. let me know. thankd

 

You need a DVD player, first. Then you also need something like a "NavTool" or "Dom's tvandnav2go" unit. There are numerous threads on this in the 3G TL Audio section.

The Navi in our TLs can't play DVDs. As Princelybug said, you will need a separate dvd player.

NavTool module will give you a video input for the screen, so you can connect the output of the dvd player to the input of the NavTool.

You will also need some kind of audio integration to get the sound from the dvd player to the speakers. I don't believe the 06 has an aux jack. PIEx3 is good, so is the iSimple - and iSimple will allow you to play your ipod through the car speakers as well as control playlists/songs with the steering wheel and head unit.

i saw this dvd player in my trunk when i went to put on the type s tailights, it that a dvd player or sumthing else????

 

That's your navigation unit...it has the navigation DVD which has all your maps and stuff on it...it can't play normal DVDs
