I just got my car back from the dealer because I was getting my bumper re-painted and for some reason the navigation screen will not dim when I turn on the lights. I also checked to see if the screen was on auto mode, day mode, or night made and it was on auto but it was not dimming. I have everything in my car set the way I like it so this is going to drive me crazy till I get it right. Please, please help me out

 

Turn your guage display off of max brightness. When you use the MAX button for the guages, it overrides the auto mode of the navi screen.
