Navigation or not?

Hello,
I am new to this forum but it looks like it has lots of great information. I purchased a 05 TL auto back at the end of March and I've been in love with it since then. I wanted a 6 speed except all of the manuals in my area were whipped. The only strange thing I've been curious about is it has the base model stereo and climate control. When I do a VIN lookup, the car is supposed to have to navi screen. I haven't taken apart the dash to see if it's been tampered with yet, but I was wondering if there are other details to see if it is supposed to be a navigation model. I haven't been able to find anyone else having this problem before. Any help would be greatly appreciated. If this is a real navi model I'd love to buy a used screen and put it in. I know this is a pretty small detail of the car, but it's always the small details that keep me up at night.
Thank you for taking your time to read this.
Best,
Ian

if someone swapped out for the nav to non-nav you'd see marks on all the screws, harnesses and clips since a bunch need to be redone/changed to add nav.

If they swapped from navigation to non navigation then the stock clock wouldn't work, unless they swapped it and re wired it
