navigation/computer install

referring to 2g tl's

After being in my friend's is300 w/navi...i've got the craze. What i'm going to do is install a small computer in my glovebox, add gps hardware, connect it to a touch screen lcd and that such....
what i want is to put the screen where the acura navi screen goes, I figure i'd buy the trim piece that comes on tl's with the navigation option. What I want to know though, is where do the ac controls go when you get the navi option? anyone done this or know of any information pertaining to differences between tl's with/without navigation?

I know that when you have the navi it goes up where the clock is, also I believe (I am in the same boat bro I dont have the navi but should have) that Radio controls are also up there so when you are on the navi screen you can still see the radio stations. Hope this helps bro. Please keep me updated because I have been looking at doing the same!

If you are referring to the 2G TL, why is it in the 3G TL forum? Which model year are you referring to in particular? 2004-2006? Or prior to this?
