Navigation Code - Entered Wrong Too Many Times

I have a 2006 Acura TL. I have the correct navigation code for it. I thought I remembered it so I entered a series of numbers without looking at the code card. Now the screen doesn't give me an option to enter a code anymore. I just see the Globe splash screen and then it goes black.

So far, I've pulled out the negative terminal on the battery and let it sit all night. This morning I connected the battery back on and got the same thing.

Help!

I tried pressing "Cancel" and that didn't work either. Also tried many posts that I read such as holding Map + Cancel or Setup + Cancel. All did not work.

have you tried to remove dvd from the trunk?

pop the cover open and hit eject. the display should come on prompting you to insert it back in.
