Unhappy Navi users in DC

I've got a late 04' TL with Navi. Lately, I 've been going into DC from Northern Virginia on the Chain Bridge down 123. Every time NAVI does not recognize the Chain Bridge. It shows it on the map crossing the Potomac, but the route guidance is either the Legion Bridge (495) or the Roosevelt Bridge (66). One I'm across the Chain Bridge, it will then re-calculate correctly.

Anyone else seeing this?

I haven't driven that way recently, but do you have "Maximize Freeways" turned on? If so, that might explain why it doesn't route you that way, as there are no freeways on either side of it. Just speculating here.

Not from the bridges in DC but yesterday I was on Rock Creek Parkway coming from the Zoo and although the road showed on my NAV it had me slightly to he right of it on an ummarked area. As a result I couldn't try guidance functions of course. As soon as I came out to near the Memorial Bridge it was corrected.

Same general vicinity so makes you wonder... I have 05 by the way.

I have an '05 and havent seen any problem on the bridges. The only problem that I have encountered has been on Rock Creek Pkway as well coming towards the Kennedy Center. It does not recognize the road and displays it as 'Unnamed Road'. Once I cross the Kennedy Center, it seems to pick up correctly.

I had a similar problem when I was going from NoVa across Chain Bridge thru DC to a place just outside DC in MD. Navi wanted me to take the American Legion Bridge, doing a u turn on Chain Bridge if possible. I was well into DC before it re-routed me thru DC. I have an 05 TL and I had freeways turned off.

I have definitely had the problems with Rock Creek Park. Navi had no idea what to do next.

Report it to them...

If you've got an '05 TL, then chances are that you've got navi disk 3.40x...

The express lanes on I-395 completely baffle it. I suppose one reason could be that they are reversible, so it will never route you in there.
