Navi and radio staying on even when car is off

Hey guys

Today I was driving the car, then parked and removed the key from the ignition and the navi and radio are not turning off. I opened the door and closed it and still both navi and radio are on. I disconnected the battery and reconnected it and the radio/navi are still on without the keys. What should i do? Check fuses? Take it to dealership and get ripped off seems to be my only option

Navi Conversion Breaux.
you installed the conversion.

there is something fuxxed up in the wiring.
Please go back over your install.

this isnt a normal problem, I can tell you that because you did the navi conversion.

Yeah but I had the conversion for 2.5 years and it was done by martin..Why would this happen now due to the navi conversion? I also called him and he said the navi is only connected to the radio. And the radio is also staying on .

I suspect that its probably the fuses. Its dark outside so im going to check that in the morning. If its not the fuses, Ill check the trunk area to see if anything that disconnected but other than that it should not be the navi wiring at all because ive had the conversion for over 2 years

^you wont find anything in the trunk.
nor will you find your fuses bad.

it has to do with something in the dash.
a bump in the road might have caused things to shift around. an exposed wire might be touching another exposed wire or a metal object.

Because your navi didnt come factory, some one installed it.....you will have to go back through the install to see if any funny business is going on.

if its a fuse, i would think that it would CUTOFF and not turn back on.
as fuses are there to protect overload.
