Navi and Radio Codes -- Retrieved
Just though I would give a thumbs up to Acura client relations. Bought my car secondhand a few months ago and my battery died today. Replaced it but had to deal with the stupid navi and radio codes -- which of course I didn't have because the previous owner didn't have them. Even with the serial number I couldn't retrieve them online because my address didn't match Acura's records.
Called the 800 number for Acura on a whim to maybe vent a little bit, but I actually got a real live human within 30 seconds and she actually helped me! She verified some info about the car and my personal info and walked me through the process of entering the codes. After she verified that everything was working again, she waited until I was able to write down the codes for future use. And she called me back 5 minutes later to remind me to get my power steering hose replaced under the recall. Can't ask for more.
