Wondering if anyone has converted the screen juuust for tv purposes i have a screen and all i want to use it for is visuals no navi no nothing jus backup camera dvd player whatever if someone can help out id appreciate it

Yes it is illegal. Get a navi conversion kit and you can do it - search you will find the parts you need.

 

Im not really worried of the illegal or legal stand points. I jus wanna have something I can use aftermarket accessories on wihtout having to connect anything stock to it other than the heatcontrols

 

Unless you don't plan on driving the vehicle I would be concerned with it.
