Guys, it happened twice yesterday. I had to go to Philly and on my way back, I was viewing the routes and it got stuck when calculating 3/5 routes. Then I turn off the car and restarted, it was ok. It was directing the way home and all of sudden the assigned route was no longer there. And when I tried to put in the same address, it calculates and then gave me a message saying that there is route in progress and try again later. If I restart the car, it was fine again. Any ideas? I am going to the dealership this thursday for other stuff so I will mention this to them.

When the navigation system is first used after being reset or being installed, it will lock up. The easy way to fix this is to restart the car. after that, enter a destination that is nearby and easy to get to, it should load that and then be ready for you long distance destination. If none of that works, check the dvd for any dirt on it.
