Navi issue

Navi issue

My navi screen tells me to check disc, I did and it's fine,
any ideas? Thanks

What did you do to check the disc? If you haven't taken it out and re-inserted it, give that a try.

try using some compressed air to clean out the dvd drive. If that doesn't fix it the navi drive may have failed and you might need to send it in to alpine to get it fixed. If your car is under warranty, take it to acura and they will give you a new one!

I've also read that people have been finding some damage to their DVD discs around the outer circumference (a scratch I suppose), in which case the drive needs to be repaired by Alpine: https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-audio-bluetooth-electronics-navigation-94/07-tl-s-navi-disc-read-error-793780/
