Hey everyone,

I recently did the Nav image hack according to another thread and when I did it on an 06 TL Automatic, the startup image didn't lag at all. I've been trying it now on my 06 TL Manual and I get a blank screen when I start up the car for about 5 seconds. After these 5 seconds are up, the image finally loads and stays for about 2 seconds before going to the Nag screen.

Any 06 TL Manual owners having this problem too?

Are you using the same CD as before? When creating the CD with the bin files, use a fresh copy of the bin files from the original DVD. Someone told me that reusing the same bin files over and over might introduce lag.

Try loading the Nav back to factory and try again.

 

that was me and yes it solved problem for me.

Copy the 401xxxcxx.bin file from the original disc everytime you modify BMP.

You dont have to go back to factory BMP between changes.

it worked! I updated the image using a fresh copy of the BIN file from the original navigation cd and there was no lag at all at the startup screen.
