Sorry if this has been discussed before, but when you adjust the screen brightness, does it also affect the brightness of the DVD video playback? For instance, when I switch to nightmode, will the DVD playback be darker than if it were on day mode?

 

The answer is YES, if you switch to night mode and your NAV screen dims then the DVD will be dimmer as well. To avoid that I keep my screen at maximun brightness when using the aux video source (tv,dvd,x-box).
