Can someone explain or direct me to a post on what is the function of the navigation dvd disk and the pc card in the unit in the trunk. My parts showed up today from a salvage yard and I noticed the PC card was gone. My parts guy said I did not need the card for the unit to work but the more I read some of the posts on navi I think he is full of it. Acura will not sell me just the card and I read somewhere that you can buy the cards but they are $1400.00. My parts are guaranteed for 90 days so hopefully he can make it right. If not, is there anyone out there that can sell me a card or make me one that will work?

 

the PC card is not used, none of the TL's come with one

 

it was place there for "future upgrades" from Acura which we have yet to see...
