i dealt with the same problem after my battery died.

i went to http://www.myacura.com and registered my vehicle, hoping that the code would be stored there...but it was not. however, after i registered my vehicle, i noticed that it was last serviced at a dealership close by. i called that dealership, and they gave me the code.

idk what i would've done if i didn't find that dealership. good luck.

No. Mine did not ask me for the code when I installed the new disc last week.

I didn't think it did either, I was testing a burnt copy of version 3.8 and when it tried reading the DVD, it never asked me for the code.

Just a suggestion, you should when you have time, talk to your dealer and get the radio and navi codes because there is nothing worse then needing them and not being able to get them right away. Your dealer should be able to get them for you. There is no charge for that.

Once you do get your codes, go to www.myacura.com and register your car there. Save the codes there for safe keeping. That way you can always have access to your codes.
