Have any of you guys had a problem with the voice recognition. Not often but enough I will give the nav a command and the stupid Bi*&h will do something completly diffrent. I'll say it like 5 times and she doesnt listen. Then I'll mess around with the radio or something then ask the same thing and she does it. I didnt change what I said or do anything diffrent. Anybody run into this.

 

Usually my problem is that I'm in the wrong menu or trying to give commands in the wrong sequence. (My fault)


If I can get it right, and the windows/sunroof are closed it goes pretty well.

 

I have noticed the same type of problem. It must either be the way I pronounce my words, give wrong command for current menu, or wind/road noise is interfering with my voice.

 

Try saying Navigation Help to make sure you are giving the commands in the propper format - Also only push the button and then let go - you do not need to hold it while you speak. It works better without the fan on high speed.

 

I get it 99% of the time right and I do have a very hard accent. The trick is slow and monotonous.

 

I'll try it slow and see what happens. I do not hold the button in. I was reading you may have to be on the appropriate screen for the voice commands to work. What exactly are they talking about. My main problems are when I try to use the a/c commands.
