NAV screen dimming in 0F weather
I've been observing nav screen for last few days and it is very difficult to see anything during daytime when weather is cold. Do I have to live with this?

Keep Right Except to Pass
I think you may. Last winter I found that on very cold mornings the screen tended to be dim for a little while until the heat warmed up the car's interior a bit.

I park mine in a garage underground and sometimes during the morning it'll be dimmer than usual.
Either it's too cold outside or condensation.

It -3.5F in Chicago this morning. I'll have to go take a look.
Usually anything LCD gets slow and dim in this kind of cold weather.
This probably won't happen to peoplein Socal. We're talking cold weather, not 50F. I usally don't see these things until you get into the lower teens F or single digits F.

If it is LCD technology then it will slow and dim in cold weather.
