amazingly, i did a search and couldn't come up with anything on this.

i have done the AD hack on my nav and love it....i'm going to need to take the car in to have things like the bluetooth addressed and such. do i need to flash it back to stock? or will they care?

also, i just got the rear camera and the RGB box in today and plan on installing that. Will having it installed, even if i don't cut any stock wires (plug and play harness) void the warranty? i have 8k miles left on it, but i'd like to get this camera running!

 

if the dealer see's your mod... and you have issues with any component that's related to it... they will most likely void your warranty for those components... Warranty is always dealer specific like other people have stated in this forum... obviously if your tranny or engine craps out will they refuse to service you because you modified your navi??? Most likely no because the two aren't related... GET IT!!!...

Since you're going in for HFL issues... I would suggest that you flash it back (two minutes to do) because they can always try to link the two... because they ARE related... and hold off on your camera mod until you get your HFL resolved...
