NAV Display Distortion ??
NAV Display Distortion ??
Hi all,
I picked up my 06 RRP / Camel yesterday and I'm psyched! I kept going out to the car until late last night and just standing there looking at it. Neighbors must think I'm nuts. Anyway, I found my first, "Is this supposed to be this way?" question last night and it has to do with the nav display. Once the OK is pressed and the map comes up there is a band of what looks like a fine cross-hatch pattern thats semi-translucent across the bottom of the screen. It's about an inch wide. I switch to the audio, then back to the map and it's still there. If I bump the joystick it disappears altogether and doesn't return. Is this normal? I can't imagine it is and was wondering if anyone can suggest a possible remedy. ( Hopefully without going back to the dealer ).
Thanx.

First off, congrats on the new car!
Second, do you have any pictures? Here are the instructions on how to post pictures.

I haven't gotten around to taking any photos yet but when I do I'll post a few here. I'm still going through the manual(s). The amount of literature that came with this thing is amazing. I'm one of those people that read everything! Even did it with the lawn mower.
