muting aftermark amp when radio off

i have 2 aftermark amps and have my remote turn on cable i believe from the white wire 12v after factory amp. The thing is that even if i turn off the radio the aftermark amp still on and i get the white speakers noise (not much but is a little annoying). Is this suppost to work like this or there any other way around to tap on another remote turn on wire to mute amps when radio is off.

i saw the diagram and i see a "mute amp wire"

Amp Mute -> Yellow w/Green

can i use this wire somehow or there's nothing i can do about it.

The factory amp is on when the ignition switch is in ACC or ON. This is to support the Nav and HFL functions.

You could turn down your gains to reduce the white noise?

Can't remember what color is the remote signal for the oem amp for our cars but I've tapped in to one of the fuses in the fuse box on the driver footwell area. I can't remember what fuse number I tapped into but it's one with only the ignitioned turned on. Do a search you should find some members doing this to find which one to tap into if you're going that route. Also as edwardmc mentioned turn your gains down. People seem to confuse amp gains as a volume control and set it to high.

If you look behind radio there is a factory amp on wire that is Red/Yellow that should be wire that feeds the factory amp juice when you turn the radio on or off.

or if you want a quick fix use a small toggle switch to cut it on or off when your radio is off
