Now that Acura has withdrawn the Musiclink pending a new model later this year, has anyone been able to find out whether they will upgrade existing models? Since it's been withdrawn because of all the complaints, I would hope they would make it easy for those of us that did buy the old system, to get the new system.

I discovered the latest disappointment yesterday, no rewind or fast-forward. I frequently listen to podcasts that are 45 minutes long and it's absurd that I cannot review the last few seconds if I need to. I found out the limitatation the hard way too, when I did try to review, several minutes into the track, and then had to listen to it again from the start since it lost my place.

When I called the Acura helpdesk I was told that they do not welcome suggestions from customers in case we later try to force them to pay for the ideas. Perhaps if they did listen to what customers need and want, then they would not omit crucial features like track information and rewind.

 

I agree with you on that. They talk about not wanting the driver distracted yet the navi is wide open for input while driving
