steps

1) get the songs off of limewire: they are only given to u in mp3 format

2) get a cd-r disc (mp-3s) take the same space on the cd-r as wmas

3) burn them as mp-3s

4) they work on every car and cd player we hav, but its a little sketchy in our suburban dunno y?

so u guys r using cd-rw? i no those cds can hold hundreds of songs, but i havnt tried it......

just get lik a 50 pack of cd-rs
Dude, how many songs ('mp3') are you putting on a cd? Unless you are able to get say 100 songs, you don't know what you are talking about. IF you are only able to fit 74 minutes of music worth of "mp3s", then guess what, its converting them to wavs and burning it at a regular music cd...nothing special there. If you can get a lot more (actualy mp3 files) then we would all love to know how.

Then you are almost 100% certainly playing regular Redbook Audio CDs, not MP3 files. You need to give specific details on how you are burning the CDs, and we'll be happy to tell you where in your process your files are being converted to standard CD Audio.

3) Comprehension of technology suggests 13 rather than 34.
4) Says 34.

The bulk of the evidence says 13 is more likely than 34, IMO.

Playing MP3 files in TL

Here's another alternative to playing MP3 in the TL....

By using Wavelab you can import MP3's and burn a DVD-A. I have made a couple of DVD-A with 50 - 60 songs on each DVD.

Sounds great in TL...

Mike

I thought u were talking bout prejudice....

Let's examine the evidence, shall we?

1) Prejudice: a Particular dislike of a certain group of people
2) Ageism: type of prejudice, a particular dislike of people of a certain age
3) Evidence suggesting Prejudice/Ageism, and I quote: "Hey little dude, are you really 13? ...enough said" which suggests that this person does not trust the judgement of a 13 year old regardless of what i have previously said

A CD is a CD. It can store data or music. Most cd players will play burned cds (cds burned as audio/music...which means that when you take files be it mp3, wma...etc...its converted into a wav music pattern - large files - and burned in the audio format). However, when you burn an actual mp3 cd, the .mp3 files are stored as .mp3 files on a DATA formatted cd. The mp3 files are still compressed (small files). So when you put either of these cds in your computer, it will be able to play either format because its 'smart'. But if you look at these two cds, the formats and the files on them are different.

So what it is because you're not making much sense in your posts. When you put the cd in your computer are there a bunch of .mp3 files? a bunch of .wma files? or a few .wav files? and if .mp3 or .wma, does it play in the TL.
