OK, I've searched the forum and couldn't find any topics related to what I'm experiencing.

Me: BlackBerry 7250. When paired with the HFL, I get good reception, signal strength, caller ID, and battery strength icons on the MID.

Weirdness 1: Sometimes when a call comes in, the Navi Screen flashes to a diagram that shows a graphic of the two buttons on the steering wheel to either pick up the call or ignore the call. Sometimes, the call just comes in without the Navi screen changing at all.

Weirdness 2: Usually, if I dial a call from the phone, the conversation happens in the earpiece, not the car's speakerphone. Sometimes when I dial from the phone, the speakerphone picks up the call. If I had my druthers, I'd rather make the calls from the phone and have the speakerphone pick up, since the voice recognition in the TL isn't the best (cannot differentiate between "Mom Cell" vs "Mom Home."

Weirdness 3: Not buggy but a question: is there a way to transfer the phone book from the BB to the TL via Bluetooth without sitting there and voice-entering each and every one??

Anybody else experiencing anything similar?

 

#1: I think you will only see the picture of the hangup/talk buttons on the Navi screen if you have pressed the "Audio" button. If you are just viewing the Navi map, then the picture doesn't pop up.

#2: I have similar weirdness with my V600. Basically, I avoid making calls directly from the phone with the Bluetooth connected. If I really want to make a call from the phone, I set up a hotkey on the V600 to easily turn off Bluetooth.

#3: That's not supported unfortunately.
