well to be honest, it is looking that way. I cannot seem to get a comfortable feeling from any install shop out here.

Everyone is so casual :

"oh yeah, no problem, sure not a big deal"

Like car salesmen

When I mention the Matrix, LC6 they are say that they have never heard of them, or of Audio Control but "I am sure we can figure it out"

Anyway, it is very annoying knowing HOW to do this stuff and not wanting to do it all, but then trying to micromanage the people you are paying to do it.

I hope that makes some sense.

I am finding if I plan I out correctly, I can do it all myself in an afternoon.

Alrighty, well I had a busy day!!

I installed:

Rear Speakers
Amp PowerWire
3 sets of RCA's
New wires for the new speakers to the new amp
Disconnected Subwoofer
Ran new RCA cable for DVD player
Ran Ground Cable for amp
Put everything back together.

Still to do:

Install Front Component Speakers with tweeters and crossovers
Install Amp
Install Audio Control Matrix
Install Sub

and to top it off, I took pics of almost everything. I am resizing the pics and putting them in order. I will be writing a DIY tonight and tomorrow.

I starts from me getting through the firewall with the power cable to putting it all together.

My first DIY, so hopefully it won't be that bad!

The only experience I have with doing this is taking apart my '02 TL. When you mess up enough, you learn how to do it better

There were SOME casualties today with all my work. You will see it in the DIY!!

Mostly it was cuts all over my hands....Dang that metal is sharp!!!
